Innovation Scholars-In-Residence Programme, Rashtrapati Bhavan (President House)
To give a unique thrust to the innovation agenda of the nation and create an extremely empathetic model of supporting innovation, the Hon’ble President of India announced an Innovation scholar-in-residence program in December 2013. Under the scheme, selected innovators are hosted by the Rshtrapati Bhavan and provided appropriate linkages for taking the innovations forward. In the inaugural year, five innovators stayed at Rashtrapati Bhavan for a period of 20 days from 01 July – 20 July, 2014. The second batch of ten Innovation Scholars In-Residence Programme will commence from 7th March, 2015 and will be hosted for a period of two weeks. This section provides a glimpse of the work of the shortlisted innovators for this year’s program.
